Good food (excellent papanași!), and nice view of the river. Slow service, but they do warn you on the bottom of the menu that cooking time is 30-45 minutes, and that's true even for soup (!).

A very nice experience. The place is beautiful, the room was big, nicely decorated, big balcony and view towards the garden. Superb bed sheets. The staff is very kind, talking to us, advising about what we can see in the region, responding to my needs. The restaurant is also good, great food and very decent prices. Everyone is very kind and sweet. It's close to Pestera lui Ionele, Pestera Scarisoara and 15 min drive to start point of Galbenei Gorge. I highly recommend it.

A busy place most of the time. By the main road, popular with tourists and locals alike. The food is nice and the portions are decent, but the service could be improved as it can be slow at times. Local traditional dishes on the menu, but also the omnipresent soups, schnitzels and sausages are on the menu.

After a 4-nights mini-holiday at this location, I can sum-up our general experience as a great one! The services provided by our wonderful hosts - the Danciu family - were quite excellent. The price we've paid per day also included a big, nourishing breakfast, as well as one main meal, which was served in the afternoon at our request. The food was tasty and the portions were huge! There were also some drinks on the house at every main meal. The guesthouse offers two separate free-parking lots for your cars - one of them is quite big. The room and the sheets were very clean and gave us the feeling of freshness - all the furniture was brand new. The bathroom offered us a nice shower cabin. The view from our balcony was gorgeous. Free Wi-Fi signal was excellent, especially in the side of the house which was closed to the reception, as well as in their restaurant. The location of the guesthouse is great! Close to the house there's a small stream of water, and not too far, there are forests on the hills... And not to mention the fresh air... And the beautiful stars at night. :) And for the best, there was a great amount of points of interest found in a close range of only several square-kilometers around the guest house. Sadly, there were also some drawbacks. First of all, the mobile signal was very poor outside the house, or even no-signal at all inside the house or inside the restaurant. There were no glassware in the bathroom (for the tooth-brushes) and no hair-dryer at our disposal. The hot water was way too hot! Moreover, it was very difficult to adjust the temperature of the water during our washing because of this. Although the LED TV set in our room was OK, some of our close friends complained that in their rooms the TV was too small to watch. Beneath our room - located on the first floor - there was a small bakery used by our hosts to prepare their own fresh-bread and other bakery products... so there was a strong hard-smell, not so pleasant, during the mornings. But overall, as I've already said at the beginning of this review, the experience was a great one!
